🐾 Group Training in West Jordan

We’re getting an earlier start to beat the heat ☀️🐕

This class will combine structured obedience + functional leash work in a real-world park setting. We’ll begin with some focused obedience work together, then transition into a loop around the park to apply those skills in motion.

This park is a great training environment — with a playground, people, kids, and dogs playing — giving us plenty of opportunities to work through real-life distractions in a controlled way.

🦴What We’ll Be Working On

• Heel work (especially through grass 🌱 — a great challenge!)

• Leash walking skills in real environments

• Obedience around other dogs + people

• Neutrality around playground activity + movement

• Engagement and follow-through outside of structured settings

We’ll be heeling through the grass for a good portion of this class — not only does it help keep dogs cooler than pavement, but it also adds an extra level of difficulty that really sharpens their skills.

🦴 What to Bring

Please come prepared with:

• Food/rewards

• Water for your dog

• E-collar

• Long line

• Regular leash

👉 Having your tools ready helps keep the class flowing and productive.

⚠️ Class Expectations (Please Read)

To keep this safe and productive for everyone:

• Maintain space between dogs at all times

• No on-leash greetings

• Be mindful that every dog is working through something different
  

  Not every dog is comfortable being approached — by dogs or people. Please respect space so every team can succeed.
